CCA South Carolina 30-Day Lowcountry Tagged Redfish Tournament
Our good buddies at the Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) have announced an exciting new fishing tournament running during the month of October. Five tagged redfish have been released into Port Royal Sound. The first person entered in the tournament to catch one of the tagged fish will win a 2010 Key West 1720 Boat with a 90 HP Yamaha 4 Stroke motor and a Road King Trailer valued at $20,000! The second person entered in the tournament to catch one of the tagged fish will win a 2009 Artic Cat Prowler XT 650 All-Terrain Vehicle valued at $10,000! There will also be a drawing at the Lowcountry CCA Chapter Banquet on Saturday Nov. 7th – all tournament entrants will be entered in a drawing for $500! Members can register for the tournament for $25. $50 covers membership to CCA and tournament entry. This is a fantastic organization that does much to promote fishing and protect our environment and membership is a good idea anyway! I’ll be signing up today!
